Sunday September 30:

The students are picked up at Højene School by their host family and spend the rest of the day with their host family.

Monday:

At 8 o’clock we meet in the classroom, the danish pupils show around at Højene School. We play games inside and outside, depending on the weather

Lunch: The pupils have lunch

At 1 p.m. we walk up to the city of Hjørring

(old Hjørring, the museum, city hall, end up in the Library,)

Afternoon - free time (go home or more of the city on their own together in small groups)

Evening - The Youth club in Højene is open from 18:30-21:30. 

Tuesday:

We go by train to Skagen. We meet at Hjørring Trainstation at 8:15, Train departs at 8:33, Arrival Skagen at 9:46

10:00 Skagen Art Museum

11:00 Anchers Museum

11:30 -12:30 Walk of Skagen (Vippefyret, the harbour, the city)

12:30-13:30 Lunch break (packed lunch taken by a danish friend)

14:11 Depart Skagen by train (13:47)

15:18 We arrive in Hjørring (14:57)

Afternoon - free time

Tuesday evening: Eating together at Højene School with parents 18:30 -20:30

Wednesday:

We go by bus to Legoland at 8:00

Lunch break at Legoland (packed lunch taken by a danish friend)

16:30 we go back by bus to Hjørring

19:30 Arrival at Højene School

Evening: free time with host family - Teachers have dinner together Evening - The Youth club in Højene is open from 18:30-21:30. 

Thursday:

We meet at Vellingshøj station at 8:20

Train 8:35 to Hirtshals Station

Arrive in Hirtshals at 8:52, we walk to Hirtshals LightTower 9:15-10 Hirtshals Light Tower

10:00 we walk back to train station

10:31 we take train one stop to Lilleheden

10:40 Hirtshals Oceanarium. 11:00 feeding in the big tank 12 seal feeding outside

Lunch (packed lunch taken by a danish friend

14:05 (14:35) Train back to Hjørring, we arrive at Vellingshøj station                   

14:18(14:48) Evening - The Youth club in Højene is open from 18:30-21:30.

Friday:

8:00 An ordinary school day at Højene School 

Lunch

14:10 School day is over

Afternoon and Evening: free with host family

Saturday

Students – free time with host families. Teachers‘ trip to Lønstrup lighthouse
