ACTIVITY PLAN


The participating schools delegate 20 students and 2 teachers to the participating country for one week period. In October Hojene school (Denmark)  takes students–ambassadors from “Romuvos” Progymnasium (Lithuania) and in April “Romuvos” progymnasium takes students – ambassadors from Hojene school (Denmark). School partners in the host school  incorporate more of their school community members in joint activities and planned events. Students – ambassadors share their new knowledge and experiences with their peers and  place an article in the local press and on school's website. While each mobility have a specific theme and its related activities, all visitors are be familiarized with the language of the country (taught basic phrases), culture, traditions, history and national education systems.

 The host school is responsible for accommodation, meals and the program during the week. The visitors get acquainted with the schools, attend classes, speak about their country, host country, learn songs and dances, go to excursions. We believe that the two weeks of activity prior to, during, and after will be beneficial not only to the participants but also for schools and local communities, a project activities will promote educational cooperation, with emphasis on the exchange of experience and best practice and achieve significance of the results. 

June – Students‘ profiles about families, hobbies, interests, location, allergies, gender, eating habits are made and the teachers match up the students in groups of four. Correspondence via e-mails and social media between students.

September - integration of the project aims into the schools' curriculum. Announcing a competition for choosing the logo of the project and voting for the best one in schools partners. Setting up the web page of the project. Students (supervised by teachers) of the hosting institution (Hojene school-Denmark) prepare everything to welcome their guests: inform parents and teachers, arrange host families, book hotel rooms, make and send a schedule of events, organize all activities.

October - Students and teachers from Siauliai "Romuvos" progymnasium (Lithuania) are going for class exchange to Hojene school (Denmark).

November, December, January – Producing a Danish and Lithuanian dictionary of commonly used words, phrases and daily life expressions. Carrying out a survey evaluating the visit in Hojene school (Denmark), filling in the SWOT board/Google Form Survey, presenting the information about the visit results to the local community and placing an article in the local press and on social media.

March - Students (supervised by teachers) of the hosting institution ("Romuvos" Progymnasium) prepare everything to welcome their guests:inform parents and teachers, arrange host families, book hotel rooms, make and send a schedule of events, organise all activities.

April - Students and teachers from Hojene school (Denmark) are going for class exchange to “Romuvos“ progymnasium (Lithuania).

May - Carrying out a survey evaluating the visit in "Romuvos" Progymnasium, filling in the Google Form Survey, presenting the information about the visit results to the local community and writing an article in the local press.

June, July, August - Evaluating the whole project and working on the final report, displaying the results on schools‘ Nordplus boards, publishing the project outcomes in the local media, students and teachers will stay in touch through the Internet, etc.
